Moving at the speed of light

Whew…. with all the christmas excitement, birthdays, holiday preperation, moving prep, new found out pregnancies and new babies arriving I’ve been moving at the speed of light it feels like.  I’ve tried to slow down and get into a pace that doesn’t tire me out so much. I’m certainly looking forward to this vacation.  We leave a week Monday. YEAH!  Sun and sand here I come.  Now hopefully this house sells while we’re away.

So here’s a recap in pictures of the last 2 frenzied weeks.  I didn’t take near as many as I would have liked but….

Unexpected mail:

p1010054   How cute is this?  And came so unexpected. Thank you Nikki!  What a pleasent surprise when I got the mail that day :) .

 

Best Presents:

p1020016   Cooper got this movie and it is the sweetest, cutest family movie. 

 

pc250053  Good old fashion play-doh.  The whole family had fun with this for hours on christmas morning. 

 

pc280029  All though this gift was for Cooper- Carter has put in way more play time on this race track.  The top of the cars light up which wowed him even more when he realized it.

 

p10200201   For me for my trip :) The cutest shoes, passport holder and hardcase wallet ever.

 

WORST snowman of 2008:

  pc270025   No Comment.  This was solely me.  Cooper saw it and said “Mommy, that snowman is not good at all!” (direct quote).

 

But then we had extremely high temperatures the next day and the backyard looked like this:

New Year’s eve was a quiet one. We were so tired that we put the kids to bed and watched a movie. I was actually in Carter’s room, comforting him from a bad dream when the clock struck mid night.
