I’m trying to do beans, tomato, peppers, radishes, 1 cucumber, lettuce and peas.  This will definitly be  a learning process for me as I’ve never done more than peppers and tomatoes.

And from around the rest of the back yard

  1. What a lovely raised bed! Did you put that in or was it there when you moved? Mmmmmm, I love lilacs :-)

  2. You’ll do fine because you have the two best gardening helpers in the world! hehe
It looks like apple blossom definitely!

  3. Nikki- We put that bed in. I had one at the old house but we did too late in the season to put anything in it so it was the first thing I wanted put in the backyard when we moved here :) .
We have a few lilacs and the aroma in the backyard is amazing!!

Daffy- I really hope it is an apple blossom. I quite excited. And yes, they are great gardeners. Cooper is VERY into the vegetable this year and is very proud of his “magic” beans. He’s always out there talking to them “you’re going to grow sooo big” lol.

  4. YES APPLES!! regardless of the kind!! LOL

  5. There is very little gives as great a reward as seeing things which you have planted, come through the soil and eventually blossom. Lilac is great and one of my favourites….I still remember the smell from it after a shower of rain……..but it spreads like mad! Good luck with the gardening

  6. Good for you trying to grow various things. Your two helpers look very keen as well!
Take care, and happy gardening! xx
